Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would love to return. The location was super in a domestic area, close to local facilities, a mediaeval castle and a beautiful large garden. Also, the hotel was situated a super close walk to Church of st Bartholomew.

Unfortunately, we encountered cleanliness issues with the pool, with some dead frogs floating around, which wasn't exactly pleasant. Breakfast seating arrangements forced us to share a table with another couple, leading to an awkward atmosphere. The stairs presented a challenge for those with mobility issues. There was also a lack of information about the pool, which could have helped us better utilize this amenity. Lastly, more outdoor seating could enhance guest comfort during peak breakfast times.

During a two-night stay, enjoying a good breakfast outdoors amongst the lush garden created a wonderful atmosphere. The room was cozy, and it was a pleasure to savor the baked apples, a standout treat. Having to clear out frogs from the pool detracted from the experience, and sharing breakfast with another couple felt a bit uncomfortable.

Staying here with our three young kids was a pleasure! The lovely garden and pool area were ideal for family moments, and the breakfast spread was always ready and waiting for us, nice for a stress-free start to each day.
In my wife's opinion, having more kids' activities available would be a plus.
